This Privacy Policy explains the information FolioRush collects, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
When you request or build a FolioRush profile, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, current or target role, résumé, photographs, social or portfolio links, profile preferences, highlights, preferred profile URL, revision requests, and communications with us.
2. Payment information
When online payment is enabled, payment transactions will be processed by a third-party payment provider. FolioRush may receive payment status, billing identifiers, transaction references, and limited billing details needed to operate your subscription, but we do not intend to store full payment-card numbers on FolioRush servers.
3. Technical information
Our hosting and security systems may automatically receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request logs, timestamps, and similar data used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
4. First-party analytics and campaign tracking
FolioRush may use first-party cookies and URL campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) to understand which FolioRush pages, outreach efforts, QR codes, or marketing campaigns lead to visits, profile-start clicks, submissions, checkout activity, and completed purchases. Our first-party campaign tracking uses random browser identifiers and does not require storing your full IP address in the marketing analytics tables.
5. How we use information
- To create, preview, revise, publish, host, and support your profile.
- To communicate with you about your submission, approval, account, billing, or support request.
- To process and administer payments and subscriptions.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- To improve FolioRush services and customer workflows.
- To measure campaign performance and understand which outreach channels lead to profile submissions and purchases.
6. Public profile information
Information included in an approved live profile is intentionally public and may be viewed by anyone with the profile URL. Before launch, you should avoid approving information you do not want publicly displayed.
7. When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help us operate FolioRush, such as web hosting, email delivery, payment processing, security, and other infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
8. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and billing records, resolve disputes, protect against fraud or abuse, and meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed may be deleted or de-identified.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect customer information. No website, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your FolioRush account or submission, subject to records we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing purposes.
11. Children
FolioRush is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly offer paid profile services to minors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as FolioRush changes. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are made.
